About Us

We are a small breeder and our dachshunds are members of our family. Our puppies are whelped and raised in the house with us so they can be handled and loved all the time.

We make sure that all our dachshunds are kept up todate on all shots and wormings from six weeks of age on. When the pups go to new homes we always try to make sure that they go to loving and caring homes.

We strive to raise dachshunds that come close to the AKC standards so new owners get very good quality pets.

Company history

We started JCH Kennels in 2000 with the purchase of two dachshunds. The first was a Double dapple that has been fixed now and a Piebald female. The female was bred twice before we got our fist Piebald male. With keeping back females from our breedings and picking our males very carefully we have been able to raise high quality pups.

Our goal has always been to enter our dachshunds into AKC events as soon as we have the best pup for the job.

I was looking for a Piebald Dachshund for my sister when I found JCH Kennels and believe me I had been through of them with Breeders offering me double dapples as true piebalds,whichif you do not do your research you can be easily fooled. Both Charles and Judy where very up front and honest and full of information,they sent pictures of the puppies telling us about each ones personalities my sister picked out a great little red boy which she is very happy with.

While chatting with Charles he told me they had a white female which I had never seen before, I asked him to send me pictures,he did even though she was not for sale. Well I fell in Love !!

By this picture you can see why. Well both Charles and Judy thought about it and they offered to sell her to me. I have had Mimi for 3 years now and she is the best healthiest well adjusted dachshund I could ask for. She stayed a mini at 11#,she is a chocolate piebald and gets comments everywhere we go.I can go on and on about her but will stop.

The last I would like to point out is that both Charles and Judy have stayed in touch, they answer any concerns I have had while Mimi grew up and just like to know what is happening in her life. They are truly breeders that care.
